The vocalist of the Dutch Death Metal legends ASPHYX Martin van Drunen was featured in one of the last week’s episodes of the Metal Pilgrim YouTube show in which he spoke extensively about the band’s future release ‘Necroceros’.
The vocalist also spoke about the band’s constant lineup changes and answering the question from the host said that he feels like the band is at the highest point of its 30-year-long career and has finally found the ideal lineup. The last founding member of Asphyx, Bob Bagchus, left the band in March 2014 and was replaced by Stefan Hüskens as the new drummer. The band has then released two albums with no lineup changes, first time since the band’s debut releases.
Asphyx released their first single Botox Implosion earlier this month, which will be featured on the upcoming studio album Necroceros. The band’s tenth studio album is set to be released on 22 January, 2021 through Century Media Records.
