According to the Tuomas Saukonnen, the frontman and the founder of the Finnish Death Metal band Wolfheart, the band is currently working on a new album.
“We have 7 songs ready,” said Tuomas. The singer/guitarplayer also mentioned that preproduction for the new material has already been partially completed.
Yet the band isn’t sure about an approximate release date of the new album. “We have been doing a lot of risk assessment,” said Tuomas when the two also spoke about the effect the pandemic will have on the Metal music industry. According to Tuomas it might distort the touring balance for larger and smaller bands, and thus Wolfheart will be choosing carefully when to release the next LP and go on tour in support of it to not overlap with such bands as Megadeth and Amon Amarth.
