New Anthrax album confirmed for 2022

Anthrax bassist Frank Bello was the latest guest on the Metal Pilgrim show. In the interview Frank spoke about the new Anthrax album and when it will be out, reflected on the 40 years of Anthrax and spoke about his upcoming autobiography boom Fathers, Brothers, and Sons: Surviving Anguish, Abandonment, and Anthrax and more.

When answering the question about the new Anthrax album, Frank Bello said that the band is currently working on about six songs. Hello also confirmed that the twelfth studio album by Anthrax will be out in 2022.

The two also spoke about Anthrax turning 40 this year and discussed in details the 40th Anniversary Livestream which happened a week before. “There are only that many songs you can play on a livestream before people get bored,” said Frank while discussing the livestream’s set list which included songs from 8 out of 11 Anthrax studio albums.

frank Bello also discussed his new autobiography book Fathers, Brothers, and Sons: Surviving Anguish, Abandonment, and Anthrax which will be out in October. “It is more that a rock n roll book,” said Frank.
